Furniture Restoration - This means that the furniture is repaired in some way. For example, joints and their associated hardware are tightened or replaced, joints and other areas are re-glued; gouges and breaks are repaired; and, other repairs are made as needed.
If the arm, leg or other part of a piece is broken we will repair it and color match it to the rest of the piece.
We specialize in solid wood furniture repair from 1840s to the present.
We do not do upholstery or caning, but can do slip in seats like a dining room chair. Customer provides their own upholstery (1 yard of fabric will usually cover 2 chairs).
Among the many items we have restored are: 1860s wagon wheel, 1890s settee, 1880s era butter churn, 1905 steamer trunk, chairs, tables, vanities, a 100 year old crucifix, candle stand, an 1840s era oak framed mirror, and an 1890s era upright piano.
All prices are competitive and vary with the complexity of the piece.
Knights of Columbus, Active Duty Military, and Retired military receive a
10% discount when they present their ID (Knights of Columbus, military ID).
